Ten Favorite Photos!
This photo uses natural light coming from above. I took this photo from the third story of the school using the zoom lens that gave me a focused look on the flower and blurred look on the background.
I used the action shot setting on the camera that allowed me to take lots of pictures quickly, this is using the rule of thirds with the fence in the background and Emily in the center. This photo uses natural light that allows a very well lit picture.
Here is Julia being a model, I used the portrait mode that blurred everything except Julia. This is using natural light from the sun but we were also under a roof so the light was coming from the sides.
This photo of flowers was taken using a macro lens that allowed me to get very close to them. There is natural light coming from all directions that allows the photo to have a very natural look with the plant and the light.
This photo was taken using a macro lens with light from the sun coming in from all directions. I used the macro lens that really made the color pop. This is very focused on the flower buds with their bright colors.
This photo was taken using the macro lens with light from the sun coming from all directions making the color pop using the rule of thirds to make the photo symmetrical and balanced.
This photo was taken using the zoom lens outside with natural light from the sun coming from all directions. The bright pink flowers are focused in the front of the pic with the rest of the background blurred.
This photo uses the rule of thirds with Ellen as the focal point and the grass and the table in the background. There is lots of natural lighting because we were outside.
This was Julia walking away from me while I was taking artsy pictures of her. The lighting is not natural and dark with no flash used. Rule of thirds is used with Julia as the focal point.
This photo is Julia walking down the stairs with not natural lighting with the light from the fluorescent lights and the flash.
